Wire Novato is a volunteer group opposed to the installation of small cell wireless transmission facilities in Novato, a city in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. The reasons are many, including the health and safety of residents. Our opposition is backed up by evidence, some of which is contained on this site.

On February 25, 2022, AT&T applied for permits to install 4 such facilities in Novato, which were temporarily rejected due to items that were not completed on the checklist. They have 60 days to re-submit. In the interim, Wire Novato has been sending letters to the Novato Planning Division to submit additional “incompletion” letters due to the many omissions, and AT&T not being in compliance with local, state and federal law. The group has made public comments at City County meetings, and published letters, comments and data on the Novato website, as well as on this site, which adds to the public record.
